Welcome to Alpe d'Huez
The rise of Alpe d’Huez is a 13.8 km road (RD 211) linking Le Bourg-d’Oisans to Alpe d’Huez. The climb is one of the most famous passages of the Tour de France cyclist.
The resort is located on a south-facing plateau at an altitude of 1860 m.
Alpe d’Huez and its ski area have maximum sunshine, Météo France observes about 300 days of sunshine per year.
You can enjoy your ski day with the sun: up to 7:30 am of sun in December, 11 am of sun in April.
In good weather, 1 / 5th of France is visible from Pic Blanc.
